I’ve taught AP Calculus AB and BC for 9 years, mainly with students from American-curriculum schools like ASD and GEMS American Academy Qatar. In lessons we slow down around limits, series and tricky FRQs, always linking back to graphs and your own class notes. We set up a regular weekly slot, then add extra review before mocks so homework and exam prep feel organised rather than overwhelming.

Hi, I’m a maths grad who fell into tutoring after classmates kept asking me to explain their AP Calculus homework. Now I work online with AB and BC students across Qatar, focusing a lot on derivatives, optimisation problems and free-response practice. Sessions are pretty relaxed and interactive, often using Desmos and your school worksheets so the material feels familiar. If you’re juggling activities, we keep meetings short and very focused on that week’s topics.

I split my week between teaching AP Calculus and supporting a small group of students in AP Physics and AP Chemistry. After more than a decade working, I’m familiar with the pacing guides and test calendars at most American-curriculum schools here. My sessions are structured but not stiff: we walk through lots of worked examples on integrals and motion, reaction rates or energy problems, then finish with targeted homework review when big unit tests are coming up.
