I’m a English teacher with 9 years’ experience preparing classes for AP English Language and Composition. A lot of my students are aiming for universities in the US, so we spend time on rhetorical analysis, commentary and timed essays. I give very direct feedback on structure and clarity, and I’m happy to look over school assignments or college application drafts outside lesson time. If you’re juggling several APs, we can build a simple weekly plan so essays don’t pile up.

I tutor AP English Language for students from several American-curriculum schools. My sessions are quite relaxed: we read short non-fiction pieces together, mark up devices and tone, then practise writing paragraphs that actually sound like you. Most of my students see their essay scores move up once they get used to that rhythm and routine.

I’m a writing tutor at a university and in the evenings I help high-school students with AP English Language and AP English Literature. Most come to me for help with commentary and making their essays sound less mechanical. Expect a lot of talk about argument, voice and paragraph flow, plus line-by-line edits when you need them before a deadline or internal school exam at your campus. Many of my tutees send me quick drafts on WhatsApp between sessions for a final check.
