I teach AP Physics 1 and 2 to students, mainly from American School of Doha and GEMS American Academy. Over the past 4 years I’ve helped classes through kinematics, circuits and simple harmonic motion, with a big focus on free-response technique. In lessons we sketch diagrams, check units carefully and use past College Board questions so nothing on exam day feels unfamiliar, just challenging.

My week is split between teaching AP Physics and coordinating the science fair at an American school. I’ve been in the classroom for over a decade and still like the moment when energy and momentum finally click. Lessons are structured but friendly: we review your teacher’s notes, fix any gaps in algebra, then work through past AP problems until the methods feel routine and manageable. Students often stay with me for more than one year as they move between courses.

I studied physics and started tutoring during my degree, mostly helping friends with AP Physics C. Since then I’ve worked with students from several AP schools in Qatar who want extra help with mechanics and electricity and magnetism. I like using simulation tools alongside pen-and-paper problems so you can see what the equations really mean, not just memorise them for one test. Evening and weekend slots are available, especially during mock and AP exam season.
